Human Resources Council can assist families and individuals in emergency situations by providing assistance with a months rent, a mortgage payment or a utility bill. This type of assistance is limited by availability of funding.
Eligibility
If you are an individual adult or family and have no available resources to meet basic needs (like housing and home heat), you are eligible to apply for Emergency Food and Shelter.
Emergency Rent & Medical
For adults who have no income and/or are disabled and are waiting to become eligible for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security Disability Income (SSDI), the Siver Bow Assistance program can help pay for rent, essential perscription medications, eye glasses and dental services for a limited time.
Eligibility
If you are a disabled individual or member of an adult-only household, you are atleast 18 years old or are legally emancipated, are a resident of Silver Bow County and have no household income, you are eligible to applly for help through the Silver Bow Assistance Program.
